We planned to use metronics theme and building food online site, which license is ok for this?

We are building food website where we are not selling theme to end user but we are getting orders from customers and delivering food to them. We are not selling this food website to anyone, we are using as service. Is regular license fine with this scenario?

If you're using the Metronic theme to build a food ordering website where customers place orders and you deliver food (without reselling the theme or website itself), the Regular License should be sufficient.

The Regular License allows you to use the theme for one end product (your website) as long as users don’t have to pay to access the site itself. Since you're offering a food delivery service and not selling the website or theme itself, this should comply with the license terms.

However, if you plan to allow other businesses to use your platform as a SaaS (where multiple businesses operate their stores under your system), then you might need the Extended License.

For more details, it’s always good to check Envato’s licensing terms or contact their support.

We had the same question when setting up our food website. Since we're not reselling the theme but just using it to run our service, the regular license worked fine for us. While discussing this with a Boba tea supplier, they had a similar setup and confirmed that as long as the theme isn't resold, the regular license should be enough. But it's always good to double-check with the official license terms!

Yes, the regular license is suitable for your food website since you're using the Metronic theme to offer a service—taking food orders and handling deliveries—rather than reselling the theme or the website itself. This license allows you to use the theme for a single project where end users can access your service but aren’t purchasing the theme directly.

Yeah, we had the same discussion while working on our food site and ended up going with the regular license since we weren’t reselling the theme—just using it to run our own service. Should be fine for your case too.

Speaking of food, had Shake Shack Food the other day, and man, it never disappoints! The ShackBurger was perfectly juicy, the fries crispy, and that vanilla shake? Just the right amount of sweet. Place had a great vibe, quick service, and was the perfect stop after a long day. Definitely one of those spots that always delivers!

Metronic seems like a solid choice for a food delivery site! Its modern design and flexible features can make ordering smooth and efficient. As long as the theme isn’t resold or shared, the Regular License should work just fine.

Using the Metronic theme for building an online food site could be a great choice, as it offers a modern design and various UI components that might help create an engaging user experience. With its flexible layout and customizable features, there’s a chance it could support smooth navigation and efficient order management. If integrated well, it may enhance user interactions and potentially improve the overall functionality of MySpurMenu . Exploring additional plugins or customizations could further refine the platform, making it more adaptable to business needs.

For your online food site using the Metronic theme, it’s important to choose a license that allows for commercial use and customization. The regular or extended license from the theme provider would typically be suitable, as they permit alterations and redistribution for business purposes. This way, you can create an engaging platform where users can easily find saving meal specials that cater to their tastes. By leveraging the theme’s flexibility, you could potentially enhance user experience and drive sales. It’s definitely worth exploring the possibilities to make your food site stand out!

Hi happy,

Thank you for your interest in Metronic!

If you are using Metronic for your eCommerce site, where you sell products to your end users then you can go with a regular license.

However, the extended license is required if you sell the service where the end users pays for using your service.

Regards.

Thanks for reply, yes we are not charging user for our website.
we only charge for product they buy.

Hi happy,

Noted, in your case regular license will be enough.

All the best with your project!

Regards.
