Which template to use for React [Frontend] + django [Backend] SaaS platform

Hi There,

I am working on a new SaaS portal, where I plan to use React/Django/PostgreSQL as the tech stack. I am new to web development. Can you please suggest the best way to set up the Metronic template with such a setup? I liked the Metronic Original in the dark theme, but it has both Django and Reach versions thus unsure which one I need to use.

Best,
Mayank

Hi Mayank

Thank you for your interest in Metronic. We do have separate Metronic applications built on React and Django. But we don't have these 2 in one app.

Maybe you can start with React, as Metronic mainly focuses on the front end. Then you can build the Django app and the backend for your business recruitments.

You can check this tutorial for the React + Django app.

Thanks

Hi,

Since you are new to Web dev

Since you are developping a SaaS, I highly suggest you to start with Metronic Django and use Htmx/hyperscript on top of it.

Personnlay we took this route (Django, Metronic HTML, Htmx, Hyperscript), and the dev experience is amazing.

Dev time is hugely cut.
