Support for Angular 17 Standalone Components in Metronic v8


Hello KeenThemes Team,

I purchased the Metronic theme a while ago to build an Angular application, and I am now migrating the application to Angular version 17.
I have successfully upgraded Metronic to v8.2.9 and Angular to v17, and everything is working well so far.

However, I am interested in utilizing a new feature from Angular v17: Standalone Components. While I can create my own components using the Standalone Components approach, I would also like the Metronic-specific components to follow this approach.

In version 8.2.9, I noticed that the Angular demos, although updated to Angular v17, are still built using Modules and do not leverage the Angular 17 Standalone Components feature.

Do you plan to support Standalone Components in the near future?

We’re glad to hear that you successfully upgraded Metronic to v8.2.9 and Angular to v17.

Thanks for your suggestion. We appreciate your input and your interest.

Right now, we don’t have any plans to update Metronic-specific components to use Standalone Components, but it’s definitely something we’ll consider for future updates as we continue improving and aligning with Angular’s latest features.
