ReUI Upgrade Guide

Hello,
I am currently working on a Metronic React project using the latest version before v9.2.
What is the best way to upgrade to ReUI? Is it even worth the effort?

Is there any upgrade guide I did not find?

Kind regards

wrestling with upgrades, been there! Wondering if jumping to ReUI is worth the hassle, a common React dilemma. Metronic React projects can be beasts to migrate, especially nearing v9.2. Is a clean slate rebuild a viable option instead? The effort involved versus the benefits needs careful consideration.

Hi,

You can get latest Metronic 9.2.3 and replace the components/ui folders completely.
You can also get the latest components/ui from the ReUI repo as well.

Regards,
Sean

Hi, thank you for the information.
So is Metronic itself still required? I feel like all components are now in ReUI and Metronic might only use a subset of them to create some sort of template.

So I don‘t really get the point of buying a Metronic license still. Can you maybe explain?

Kind regards

Hi,

ReUI is component set while Metronic offers you layouts(10 demos), pages, and more pre-made UI elements to go with. Metronic saves lots of time and afford to get started with React project. It offers Next.js and Vite versions. We will release Metronic CMR for React/Next.js soon and more concept apps are cooking.

Regards,
Sean

Hey,
Aha got it. Thank you for the clarification!

Kind regards

Thank you for your interest in ReUI and Metronic happy
