Request for Dedicated Page for Form Controls and Tabs Layout in Metronic 9

Hello Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I have a request regarding the organization and accessibility of components within the theme, particularly form controls and the tabs layout. In Metronic 8, the availability of extensive examples for various form controls and layouts made it incredibly convenient for developers to implement and manage these features in applications. Having a dedicated page or section for these in Metronic 9 would bring similar ease to development, ensuring a smoother experience for developers and promoting consistency in application design.

Specifically, I suggest:

A Comprehensive Form Controls Page: A dedicated section showcasing examples of all the available form controls (inputs, selects, checkboxes, radio buttons, date pickers, etc.), with clear usage guidance.

Tabs Layout Examples: A separate page demonstrating different tabs layouts, configurations, and integration with content, similar to what was available in Metronic 8. This would simplify the implementation of tab-based navigation and content organization in applications.

These additions would not only enhance usability but also help developers maximize the potential of Metronic 9 more efficiently.

Currently only user profile have settings section, that is not even covering different type of controls and is very basic (it doesn't even have textarea controls).

Please look into this issue in Urgent priority.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. We are working on a major update for Metronic 9 and all the above features will be provided soon. Datepicker, advanced select, toast, notifications, more form elements, etc. We are planning to release these new features during Jan/Feb.

Regards,
Sean

Hi Sean,

its Feb now any ETA for me for this issue.

Thanks

Hi,

The update is taking longer than expected, especially with the migration from Tailwind 3 to Tailwind 4 for both current and upcoming updates. We're working hard to release this as soon as possible.

Regards,
Sean

hi, even if this update is taking longer. maybe you guys can release a few features in for us and do the rest same as how bootstrap version have matured over time version by version? this will be a great help to our work.

Thanks

Hi,

Sure, we are targeting to release it by end of this months. Tailwind 4 migration taking time due to major changes in the core. In the HTML level will not be much changes.

Regards,
Sean
