Question about licensing

Hi, i really like metronic and i'm trying to figure out what license should i purchase for my use case.

I work for a company that specializes in restocking products in various physical stores. Each of the restockers, while performing their job, logs the tasks they have completed into software.

The companies that hire the restocking service can view what has been done, along with dates and details, through the same software.

Obviously, the companies could only access the software if they hire the restocking service, and while they are not directly paying for access to the software, it is a bonus when hiring the restocking service.

This is where I get confused with the licensing options because, although access to the software would not be available for free to just anyone, the client companies would not be paying for access to the software but rather for the restocking service.

What type of license should I purchase for this use case?

Also, is the documentation provided in the download (or just accesible online) ?

For your use case, where the client companies access the software as a bonus while hiring the restocking service, you would likely need a "SaaS" or "Extended License" depending on the Metronic licensing options. The Extended License would allow you to provide access to your clients while ensuring compliance with the licensing terms, even though they aren't directly paying for the software itself. As for documentation, Metronic typically includes detailed documentation within the download package, which will also be accessible online for continuous reference. Consulting experts like expertmistry can help you navigate through the licensing terms and ensure you're choosing the right license for your unique business model.

When it comes to choosing the right software for your business, understanding licensing can be a bit tricky. I’ve been there, trying to navigate the different options and make sense of it all. That said, I recently found some solid information that helped clarify a lot of my questions about software licensing. Plus, if you ever find yourself needing customer support, eposnowhq really impressed me with their responsive service. They not only guided me through my queries but also ensured I got the most out of their software. Definitely worth checking out if you’re considering software solutions for your business!

Can I have your company info, I am also interested in replenishing products final grade calculator

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in Metronic.

In your case, your application is considered as SaaS. The end users are charged in certain ways rather than accessing for free. So it definitely falls into the SaaS use case and requires the extended license.

Themeforest licenses, both, regular and extended are required for a single deployment. Assuming your application is deployed in a server where all access servers. This will be considered as a single deployment of your SaaS service and you will need one extended license.

The documentation is provided online. However, we can provide the offline version upon request.

Regards.
