Metronic V8 future updates
Hello, our company bought the metronic theme around 2 years ago and we plan to update our vue project soon. The metronic core changed completely from vue options-api to composition-api since then. Now we have to update every single page to have our project working with the current metronic version (at least if we want to use the new components and stuff). Thats a lot of work but we want to keep the theme up to date in any way.
The most reasonable way to update will be Metronic V8 but there also exists a Metronic V9 with tailwind. On the FAQ it says that V8 will be further supporter with updates, but how long will this be? Will V9 replace V8 at some point or will both versions coexist all the time? We just want to be sure to update to V8 to justify the work. Thanks for your reply!

Sorry for the delayed reply.
It will depend on how Bootstrap will be supported. At the moment Tailwind is growing and Bootstrap is slowing down. However, we do plan to maintain the Bootstrap version with bug fixes but we do not plan major updates since the demand is changing toward Tailwind.
Metronic 8 will stay for a long time since lots of users use it. But in any case, we will keep the Bootstrap version up to date whenever a new Bootstrap version is released or any bug reports are posted by our users.
