Laravel Starter Kit

Hi, i have downloaded the laravel starter kit and installed on my pc. Everything works perfectly. However, i noticed that the project size is around 800 MB, resources and public folders are around 100 MB. Is it possible to get a clean project with only sidebar and header bar amd without other components? Or what files can we remove while deploying to the production?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for using our Laravel starter kit. The total size of the project can be quite large due to the various resources and demo files included. You can remove some unnecessary files and folders to reduce the project size.

One folder that takes up a significant amount of space is the "preview" folder located in "resources/demo1/media/". This folder contains media files that are only used for demo and preview purposes and are not necessary for the actual application. You can safely delete this folder to free up some space.

We will also consider releasing a version with a smaller file size and fewer components in the future. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks

Sure, noted with thanks. Another question, dose it support vite now? If yes can you provide some instructions to set it up?

Hi,

Currently, Metronic Laravel does not support Vite. Some plugins may not function as intended. We are working on incorporating support for Vite in future updates.

Thanks
