Laravel Dark Mode not similar to html

When switching to 'Dark mode' with the Laravel version (or overruling by adding data-theme-mode="dark" to the html tag) the look is not similar to the html version or webdemo.

For example the logo is not changing color.

Is this a bug or a setting?
