How to migrate V8 to V9


Hello I have brought license and made my product application with v8, I read the news about v9 with tailwind and I want to migrate it, how can I do this, can anyone please help?

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply.

The Metronic 8 is based on Bootstrap, meanwhile, our current Metronic 9 is based on Tailwind and we are using completely different file structures because of the mentioned reasons the migration is quite complex. You should start by setting up a new React project with Tailwind support, you can refer to our documentation. Then once you have set your project up you can start copying your logic and components from your current project and replace Bootstrap classes with Tailwind classes and the Metroinc 8 component attributes with attributes from Metronic 9.
