Do I have to follow the steps outlined here?

Hi David,

Build assets section explains how you can build assets with our gulp or webpack tasks, after running commands from the section you will have folder Starterkit/wwwroot/assets which will contain all bundled js, css and media files. By default Starterkit/wwwroot/assets folder is included in a zip and application will work without steps from Build assets section.
