export datatable not working in last update


hello, I downloaded metronic v8.1.6, but how do I run the date table export?
I try to export but it is like the demo does not export anything

And I don't need that last version view
can anyone help me or the future not work in V8

Hi,

Those export buttons are dummy buttons put in for demo purposes only. For real export, you will need to implement a backend code to process the data and construct the export file and allow for download. This feature is not covered by the HTML themes.

However you can refer to this example to check the frontend export features by Datatables plugin.
