Hi,

In the new version of Metronic we are looking towards TanStack Table with Tailwind

Datatables 2.0 has lots of breaking changes hence it still uses jQuery. As a long-term solution, we want to avoid using jQuery in the Metronic core.

More highlights will be shared soon regarding our upcoming version.

Regards.

Hey Sean,

You know that datatables are using jquery from the beginning and you put it to the theme and we are using it for years along with the metronic & keen. It's the best plugin when it comes to tables. So whenever there is a major update on a plugin will you drop support? Then we need to change plugins constantly which is hard to maintain.

They are already trying to remove jquery dependency as you can see from the updates and https://datatables.net/forums/discussion/51702#Comment_178528

Hi,

Thank you for sharing the links. We will check them out. We may consider the update for the Metronic HTML Bootstrap version as soon as possible. At the moment we are focusing on the new Metronic HTML Tailwind version.

Regards.
