The documentation is WORTHLESS for a newbie user like me


It is impossible to compile or run the nodejs project for a newbie user like me.

Trying to reproduce the getting started doc in a windows pc without nodejs and other things previously installed, it is impossible.

A ton of errors, so I have to google it but I have no idea of npm so... worthless documentation.

On the other hand, all the documentation is written as I know already how Metronic works!

This is simply: just install a clean windows 10/11 installation and then just install nodejs.

Then try just following the steps in your doc getting started and you will realize that it's impossible, dont need to send you any screenshot.

You will see the errors: "webpack-log", "link", "husky", and there is nothing about that in your doc.

So, simply, install a clean copy of windows 10/11 and nodejs and try your doc.

I am very sorry but you are doing it wrong.

Just a clean copy of Windows 10/11 and nodejs 19.8.1 just downloaded.

Then try your doc.

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

We highly recommend using the LTS version of node which is 18.15.0, and we rechecked our NodeJS Starterkit with node 19.8.1, and still no issues.

Could you please tell us which step does throw an error?

Also, may I ask you to attach your error message so we can give you advice on a fix?
