Quick fix: Metronic 8 Demo 5 Missing Header Menu Toggle on Mobile


Encountered a minor issue in Metronic HTML Demo 5 where the header menu toggle button is not shown on mobile. Use the below code for a quick fix. The official fix will be arriving in the next update soon.

Hi Sean
I'm coming across this problem.. I haven't upgraded from 8.1 (for various time / cost constraints).

When I open the menu using hamburger in mobile mode (for demo2), the overlay covers the entire menu so it cannot be accessed.

I've been playing around with all the z-indexes for the kt-header, menu, etc.. but can't get it to resolve because the menu sits within the header, and the only way to show the mobile menu means setting the index of the header above the overlay..

this makes the both the mobile menu AND the header toolbar behind it, sit above the overlay.. I can't split them out.

Could you repost your workaround as the current link above is 404.
