Norton detected JS.Cryxos!inf within plugins.bundle.js .


Norton has detected JS.Cryxos!inf within plugins.bundle.js. However, there have been no alerts while testing with Avast or McAfee. JS.Cryxos!inf appears to be a new Trojan introduced just a week ago.

File Name: plugins.bundle.js
Threat Name: JS.Cryxos!inf
Full Path: D:\xampp\htdocs\portal\public\frontend\assets\plugins\global\plugins.bundle.js

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? We are currently using version 7. What steps should we take now to resolve this as soon as possible? Would upgrading the theme assist us?

Hi,

Can you please consider using the latest Metronic v8.2.5? Older Metronic versions such as Metronic v7 refer to the previous version of plugins that might cause the above issues.
