Metronic support for Reui v2 and Reui Pro integration

Hi,

Since Reui v2 was released recently with some great new styles and components, I've been trying to use it in my project. However, Metronic is still using Reui v1, which is causing conflicts when I try to integrate Reui v2 components.

I have a couple of questions regarding this:

  1. Are there any plans to upgrade Metronic to Reui v2? If so, is there an estimated release date/roadmap for this update?
  2. With the release of Reui Pro, will Metronic buyers get access to it, or will it be a separate purchase? Also, once Metronic updates to Reui v2, will we be able to seamlessly use Reui Pro components alongside it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi TRACE,

Thanks for your questions! Let me clarify the relationship between these products.

Understanding ReUI vs Metronic

ReUI and Metronic are separate products within the Keenthemes ecosystem, even though they share the same team:

  • ReUI is a free, open-source component library built on shadcn/ui for React. It's available at reui.io and on GitHub. ReUI v2.0.1 was released in March 2026.
  • Metronic v9 (Tailwind) uses KtUI for its HTML version and Radix UI primitives for its React version — it does not use ReUI as its component foundation.
  • ReUI Pro is a separate premium extension to ReUI with advanced blocks, templates, and AI tooling. It's a standalone product, not bundled with Metronic.

Answers to Your Questions

1. Metronic upgrading to ReUI v2: Metronic and ReUI are architecturally different products. Metronic v9 is built on KtUI/Radix UI, while ReUI is built on shadcn/ui. I don't have information about plans to merge these or switch Metronic's component foundation. This is a product roadmap question — I'll escalate it to our team for a definitive answer.

2. ReUI Pro access for Metronic buyers: ReUI Pro is a separate premium product at pro.reui.io. It is not included with Metronic purchases. You would need to purchase ReUI Pro separately if you want access to its premium blocks and templates.
