Metronic 8 - Demo 1 - Webpack build - Images in assets not in a readable format

Hi, I have just purchased metronic 8 and am experimenting with demo 1, I have basically, deleted the demo1\dist\assets folder, then installed the yarn dependencies and run the webpack build and noticed that any images (.png, .gif) that have been copied to the demo1\dist\assets\plugins\custom folder, like for example: demo1\dist\assets\plugins\custom\jstree\32px.png are not in a readable format, windows image viewer or paint can't open them.

Can you please let me know why is this? I don't think this is the correct behavior..

Thanks

Hi,

We have tested it. The image works fine and can be opened using the windows image viewer. Could you please verify if it can be opened in the browser?

Thanks

Unfortunately, they are not opening right from the browser either. Its strange how it works for you and not for me, since I am not doing anything special here.

I can't find a way how I can attach the image that is being generated in here.

Also the images that are being copied over from the media folder are just fine, only the ones in the plugins folder are not working well!

Thanks

Hi Fabian,

Sorry for the delay. This is strange. Have you tried it on another PC or someone else PC?

Thanks
