Implementation summernote js on metronic v8.1.6


Hi, I have an issue with style for implementation summernote js on metronic v8.1.6, the function issue break and style bug, and some di toolbars not working. do you have any sample implementation for that?

Hi,

Please note that the current summer note version is not compatible with Bootstrap 5.x.
We have attempted the integration multiple times but it did not work with the latest Bootstrap 5 version. We will integrate it with Metronic once the official release is available for Bootstrap 5.x.

You can consider using Quil instead as it's quite a popular choice among the leading services such us Slack, Grammarly, Reedsy, etc.

Hi Sean,

thank you for your suggestion to use Quill. one question from me, what if I have existing data from summernote, can Quill be used for the resulting data from summernote js. if no problem I will use Quill.

You can try it out. Basically, HTML editors should be able to display basic HTML code.

Currently, it does not support Table editing. According to this the author will add the table support in Quil v2 release
