This file is being treated as an ES module because it has a '.js' file extension and 'C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\django\starterkit\_keenthemes\tools\package.json' contains "type": "module". To treat it as a CommonJS script, rename it to use the '.cjs' file extension.

Hello, the error you're encountering seems to be related to the configuration file for Webpack, which is used for bundling and managing front-end assets in Django projects. The error message suggests that the configuration file is being treated as an ES module but contains syntax that is not supported in that context.
I think you should look for any uses of require statements in the file. If you find any, replace them with import statements. For example, if you have a line like this:
javascript
const someModule = require('some-module');
Change it to:
javascript
import someModule from 'some-module';
Hi,
If you are using webpack to build, please remove "type": "module" from package.json file. After making this change, try running your webpack build again.
Thanks
