Duotone Icons Naming and missing Icons from previous versions

Hey Guys,
we have a question regarding the duotone icon library you ship with Metronic.

When we google for Metronic duotone icons we land on
These icons have different file names than the ones shipped in the releases and also there are fewer icons now in the current version of Metronic. For example, all /Weather icons are missing and we'd like to use them for our Light/Dark Theme switch.

Any statement on this topic from you guys?

Hi,

Metronic v8 uses our own in-house designed SVG iconset. We will add new icons to our in-house Duotune set. We will also consider changing the icon file name in a future update. You can send suggest lit of icons and we will consider adding them in a future update.

Regards

Hey Sean,
thank your for the quick answer!
I understand and very much appreciate you guys add more icons in the future, but my questions was why you removed items that have been available in earlier versions. For example metronic had an entire Iconset for Weather (like moon.svg and sun.svg), and now they're gone.

Cheers,
Kai

Hi,

Please note that was a 3rd-party icon set. From now we will use our own icon set.
You can still copy any icons's SVG code from SVG icons and use it in your HTML code.

Regards
