Drop Down selected value not shown, show only place holder default caption
Hello,
After setting value to dropdown like this $('#myDropDown').val(1);
The selected value is getting blue V symbol but the caption of dropdown is still shown the text of placeholder how can I show the selected text value instead of placeholder?

Hi,
If you are using Select2 custom dropdown control you should use it's API Method to set a value.
If you are using something else please provide us more info, including your Metronic version, build method(gulp, webpack) and which dropdown component are you using.
