Datepicker choice

Hey guys,

I noticed that Tempus Dominus and flatpickr are not maintained anymore. Do you have plans to integrate another plugin or write your own? Can we safely use Tempus Dominus for now and will you support it since it accepts only paid support now?

Tempus Dominus and flatpickr are currently not actively maintained, with Tempus Dominus now offering only paid support. While both can still be used for existing projects, relying on them for long-term sortthecourtgames.com development may not be ideal. It's a good idea to explore alternatives like Litepicker or Pikaday, which are lightweight and better maintained. If you're working with a modern frontend framework, consider integrating a component-native date picker for better future support. For critical projects, abstracting the date picker logic can make future replacements easier.

Hi,

Yes, we do have plans to release all the core plugins for the new Metronic Tailwind version as discussed here. Datepicker, Advanced Select, Calendar, and other components will be added as in-house components in the near future. The initial Metronic Tailwind version will be released in a few weeks(hopefully) and we will introduce 15+ Javascript components for Tailwind CSS such as Modal, Tabs, DataTable, Menu, Tooltip, Collapse, etc.
