Hi,

Could you please provide us with more info? Which template, version, and demo are you using?

Regards

Sure Sean, just follow this, and the user will see the pages only in dark mode.

before I list the steps, what are the variables to change/set the theme to light mode for the app?

Issue:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-colors-in-windows-d26ef4d6-819a-581c-1581-493cfcc005fe#:~:text=in%20Custom%20mode-,Select%20Start%20%3E%20Settings,Select%20Personalization%20%3E%20Colors.&text=In%20the%20list%20for%20Choose%20your%20mode%2C%20select%20Custom.,mode%2C%20select%20Light%20or%20Dark.

1) Below are the Steps to set windows to dark mode:

Change colors in Custom mode
Select Start > Settings .

Select Personalization > Colors.
Open Colors setting

In the list for Choose your mode, select Custom.

In the list for Choose your default Windows mode, select Light or Dark.

In the list for Choose your default app mode, select Light or Dark.

Expand the Accent color section, then:

To have Windows automatically pick an accent color, select Automatic.

To manually select an accent color, select Manual, then select the list to the right and select a color under Recent colors or Windows colors, or select View colors (next to Custom colors) for an even more detailed option.

Scroll down and select the toggle for Show accent color on Start and taskbar and Show accent colors on tile bars and windows borders to turn them on or off, as desired.

2) Now when download the preview from layout builder, and open the html files; the problem is that even the light mode files are all dark in the browser.

Try clearing your browser's cache. Cached files can sometimes interfere with the rendering of websites. Here's how to do it:

Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner (menu).
Hover over "More tools" and select "Clear browsing data."
In the "Clear browsing data" panel, select the "Cached images and files" checkbox.
You can also choose the time range for which you want to clear the cache, or select "All time" to clear everything.
Click the "Clear data" button.

After clearing the cache, refresh your Metronic page and check if the light mode is now applied correctly. If the issue persists, please let us know.
