Best way to show a live version/download badge on a Metronic-built tools site?

I'm building a gaming tools/guides website with the Metronic admin theme, and I want to display a live "latest version" badge plus a download count on my guide pages (for context, the site is deltaexecotr.com).

Is the cleanest approach a small custom JS fetch that pulls version info from my own endpoint into a Metronic card, or does Metronic have a built-in component for live badges/stats that I should use instead? A brief example would be really helpful.
