I apologize for using a translator.
I am writing to inquire about applying the Metronic theme to a Spring project With Kotlin.
I have successfully followed the instructions in the provided link(https://preview.keenthemes.com/spring/metronic/docs/getting-started) and was able to run the dashboard on my localhost. But, my existing project is based on Kotlin and Gradle, and after converting from Maven to Gradle, I am unsure about the next steps.
Would it be possible for you to provide any sample or guidance on how to integrate the Metronic theme with a Kotlin-based project, or at least provide some general steps to follow?
Alternatively, if that is not possible, would it be inefficient to set up a separate Thymeleaf layout structure using the files in the "dist" folder, which are bundled in HTML?
Thank you for your help, and I look forward to your response.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfouruntetly, we haven't tried Kotlin and Gradle at the moment, but we will consider using them in the next Metronic update if we will see demand.
Converting the whole Java project to Kotlin seems like quite a difficult task I think the easiest way to get started with Kotlin/Gradle and Metronic is by creating a new Gundle project and then just copying js, css files, and HTML markup from our HTML version.
Please let us know if you have any further questions on this topic or anything else.
